This is a resubmittal of a tutorial that I posted some time ago. In this tutorial, I will show you how to create flash text in GIMP using the GAP plugin. Click on the image to see the animation.

The only difference in this resubmittal is that you no longer have to view this tutorial on another site. I've prepared the tutorial in an htm version so you can download it to your computer and work on it at your leisure. Just click on the Download to Desktop Button, double-click the zip file and save the two file folders and htm file to a convenient location. Double-click the htm file and you're in business. Within the animation file folder are the background and flash highlight layers I used, so you can follow along exactly as I've written it.
