I've been in a rut with my graphics lately and was hoping doing some animations might bring me out of it! Not sure if I'm out of a rut or not, but this sure was fun (and easy!) to create! Click on the Download Link to see it in full size.

Awesome, really nice and smooth (the animation)

Very cool. The tutorial is EXCELLENT. I haven't tried it yet, but it all makes perfect sense. My brain is already spinning off ideas from it. Thanks for sharing :) It's nice to get fresh ideas now and then!

Ah I ran into a problem again. Two error boxes came up running that script you have to download. See my screenshot [link] I also joined the site the tutorial is on though :)

It looks as though you're running the newest version of GIMP....is that correct? If so, the script might not work with it. I haven't started using the newest version yet, but I've heard that some scripts don't work due to changes in the new GIMP. YUCK! Maybe there's a way we can contact the author of the script and get it updated. Or, maybe I can try my hand at it and see if I can get it to work.....but I'm definitely not a programmer. Sorry 'bout that.

I saw that you signed up and added a post to the thread welcoming you to the Dome...I did that before reading this message. Glad to see you signed up....it's a great forum!

Yeah it's the 2.4beta. Sucks that it doesn't work. If I understood what the heck it meant, I'd try to change it myself. At least it was nice and easy to get most of the way through it :) Can I save it how it is and finish it with the script later? (and what extension would be best, I thought maybe psd or xcf?)

Yes, you should be able to save it and finish it later. I recommend xcf since it's gimp's native format.
