Yeah! A great tutorial (IMHO!) for the brand new year and to go along with my recently received 10,000 pageviews! Thanks so much everyone for taking time out of your busy schedule to visit my page! Happy New Year!

In this tutorial, I will show you how to create an animated kaleidoscope using GIMP and the GIMP Animation Package (GAP).

The tutorial is in html format. So, just download the zip file to a convenient location, like your desktop. Double-click the zip file and move the html file and the "files" folder to your desktop (the files folder and html file must be in the same location for the images to show up.) Double-click the html file and the tutorial will open.

Although nothing is required for you to download and use this tutorial, giving me a fave would be a simple way to show your thanks. Just click the :+fav: Add to Favorites link on the left side of the page, near the top. You don't even have to give me comments. Come on, people, show a little bit of love for someone who takes the time and effort to do the hard work of preparing these tutorials for your enjoyment and learning.

Enjoy!

I'll tell you thanks Art, and I don't even have GAP yet. I'm still learning GIMP, have not got to that point yet. So glad for your help in the past though, and wish others would share tutorials, etc., as you do. I know you have been a help to probably a lot more people than you have been given credit for. So I offer a big THANKS to you in the hope it covers some of those who don't take the time to do so. THANK YOU SIR!
No problem! Always glad to help out. Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by and comment! I appreciate that more than people faving it! :D

Thank you Fencpost. More toys to play with. Hee,hee. I love your tutorials. They are so useful and fun to do. Not always easy but fun.

Take Care
If I were you I would install GAP anyway. It is learned much better if it sits on the menu bar taunting you. hee, hee. You don't have to get to any particular level to use it. You just have to try. When you try you learn things. So what if the tutorial doesn't turn out the first hundred times you will learn a lot from the mistakes. I did.

Take care
Thank you! I have been thinking about doing that, all I needed was a little encouragement, LOL!
Do it barn9, you will learn GAP faster if you have it and you at least try to use it. I have made one of Fencepost's tutorials with GAP,and it was a pleasant experience. By the way, Fencepost is a fantastic tutorial writer, so if you try with his tutorials you may learn it faster than you think. I don't know everything about GAP but I understand some of it because I did his tutorial. So give it a try.

Take Care
