Wax Pattern Stereoimageby ~fence-post

Digital Art / Mixed Media / Abstract

Developed a new GIMP script which was used to create the background pattern (I will be uploading the script soon). Added a color gradient, ran the plastic wrap script (see my gallery for that), performed some fencepost magic, and turned the single image into a faux 3D image.

To see the depth, cross your eyes and stare at the 2 images until a 3rd image appears between the two. With your eyes still crossed, focus on that 3rd image. You'll see the pattern appear to have "hills and valleys". Don't stare too hard, you might go blind!!!
