Undoubtedly, my best stereogram yet! I'm very excited about this one. I call it a "Wallwalker" as it reminds me of one of those gooey, rubbery objects that you throw against the wall and watch it slowly detach itself one "limb" at a time and "crawl" down the wall.

Make sure you cross your eyes a tad bit and look at the 'floaters' (2 visible lines of the hidden object-one line at top and one at bottom & also the text at the top is a floater) These will appear to float within the background (nothing hidden in the floaters) The middle of the wallpaper contains the hidden object.

Tools used:

GIMP: Colored Texture creation, modifying "hidden image", compiling stereogram images, adding text, adjusting levels, etc.
Wings 3D: Creation of the 3D Wallwalker model
Bryce: Rendering the model to create the lines 'floaters' of the hidden object you see at the top and bottom of the image.
3D Monster: Creating Depth Map of Wallwalker Model (the hidden part in the image)
3D Miracle: Actual creation of the stereogram image.

wow you used a lot of tools, I truly don't know how you can create a stereogram, but it looks like it cost a lot of work and effort.
It really looks great ;D

Glad you liked it! The one here used a bunch of different tools and the cost wasn't too bad. However, if you'd like to try your hand at them, you can do them for free using GIMP/PS/PSP and some free stereogram software downloaded from the web. Here's a link to my tutorials on doing them in GIMP: [link] You can also find the tutorials in my gallery, but they're broken up into 3 separate files.

Came out very nice. But what I don't like about 3D Miracle is echo-ghosting, you should switch to Stereogram Explorer or free Stereogram Creator - [link]

And the floaters might be 3dimensional too.

I've got Stereogram Creator on my desktop and have been experimenting with it. Unfortunately, the default settings don't seem to give me enough depth from front to back. I've been experimenting with the various settings (the depths, distances, separation, DPI, etc.). But I'm not sure how each one affects the others. I'll keep experimenting with it. Any suggestions or advice on using it is greatly appreciated.

BTW, did you notice any ghosting in this one? I have one time, but not again.

Yeah, I can clearly see the echo ghoting. I agree that stereogram creator has flatty default options. There's explanation picture there, you should increase max3Ddepth.
