Stuff....

Many apologies to my friends for not commenting on your artwork lately.  Work has really picked up here at the office (which is a good thing) and I haven't been able to get to all the wonderful pieces of art you guys/gals are showing off.  I view as many as I can and am so inspired by the creativity that's out there.  Thanks so much for keeping me motivated.

I think I'm trying a bit too hard in my artwork to come up with something new...trying to create something cutting edge.  I've decided today that it's time to enjoy doing what I know how to do and the ideas will come.  It makes no sense to try to 'force' creativity....in fact, I don't even know if it's possible.  Why try?  Don't know, but that's what I've been doing.  After conversing with myself a bit this morning (Yes, I talk to myself! I love that scene in Liar Liar where Jim Carrey's kicking his own butt!), I got a new attitude and decided to just let it flow.

I hope all of my friends out there are doing fine in your personal lives.  Make sure you keep your family/friends the biggest priority and let them know you care for them.  Time's too short.
