Uh, oh!!! I've gotten the bug again! The GIMP bug, that is!  For some strange reason, I felt the need to start up graphics again and I'm in the process of updating old tutorials/scripts and writing new ones.  Don't know if this is a good thing or not, but it is, what it is! LOL

It's hard to believe that it's been 2.5 years since I've posted anything new or responded to comments. I got out of graphics for awhile due to other interests (mainly my guitar!), but just recently started dabbling in the visual arts again.  I'll probably never devote as much time to artwork as I once did, but I hope to post something in the future.  But, I sure have a LOT of dust & rust to remove before much of anything gets posted.  If you don't use your skills, you will lose them!

To those of you who have commented, sent me private messages, and asked for assistance, please forgive me for not responding.  It's certainly never been my personality to not respond and I feel bad for that.  I appreciate all of my followers and the comments/criticisms you've given over the years.

Also, I won't be writing any tutorials, scripts, etc. for a long time, if ever.  I'm going to sit back and learn from all the wonderful artists here on DA and enjoy the ride!

Since my last journal update.  And, once again, I can't respond to the 1900 comments I've received.  Thanks to everyone for your kind words on my artwork.  Things are going very well and with my new computer I plan on doing a lot more.  Best wishes to everyone and happy GIMPing!

I would like to take this opportunity to everyone who has commented or faved my work over the last couple of months.  Your kind words are greatly appreciated.  Unfortunately, my message box is well over a thousand and there's no way I can reply to everyone.  So, that being said, I'm globally thanking everyone today and asking you to forgive me for not responding individually.  For those of you who know me, you know this is a great departure for me, as I ALWAYS respond.  But, I just can't do it.  It started out as a lack of interest in graphics, my monitor conked out, then my grandmother passed away, then back-to-back surgeries for my wife.....Don't get me wrong, I'm not having a pity party, just letting you know it's been a busy few months.  The monitor was recently upgraded and I was so happy and ready to start graphics again...then, the hard drive started to crap out.  

But, it looks like I'll be back to some limited activity real soon and looking forward to catching up with old friends and meeting new ones along the way.

Just wanted to let everyone know that I'll probably be a little inactive for the next few days (possibly a couple of weeks.)  The computer monitor at home went out and there's no extra cash (or credit) to get a new one.  So, until a new one is purchased, I won't be commenting or posting.
